Ok I haven't blogged in a long time. LONG time. Oh well. I came back from taiwan. Training. Bought a TON of stuff. Put on weight, what to expect when we drank nai cha and ate ji pai everyday. The ones the canteen sold were fried with beer lah. Bought a pair of purple n orange onitsuka tigers (: a bit too big for me but it was the last pair in the whole shilin so what the heck. Bought a lot of figurines, comics, but yah most of my money on food and phone cards.

So.. I'm leaving Singapore in August (hopefully, if my disruption is successful) to NYU. NEW YORK CITY! MADISON SQUARE GARDEN BROADWAY TIMES SQUARE MTV WWE DENNY'S BURRRRRGEEERSSS AND FRRRRIESSSSS. YUM. Ok i seriously don't know how to lose/maintain my weight there. have to cancel all the berkeley stuff though. dunno how =/

ok let's look at my army life so far. i went into pegasus in bmt, they said i was too fat and out of training'ed me. i went to seletar as a storeman until june, then went back to tekong in APACHE and had the best 3 months of my army life. it was really damn fun. then i got posted to sispec, and ooc'ed on the first day cause i failed my ffi due to my stupid ankle injury due to the stupid low ramp at the stupid soc. then i was an ooc at sispec for like 3 days, then they posted me out to signals. i reported to signals yesterday and guess what i failed the ffi again! whee. then i went for my specialist appointment and they told me i have mild arthritis in my right ankle. DOWNPES. haha i dunno lah. anyway now i'm an ooc at signals and i get to go home at 5.30 everyday until they post me out to goodnessknows what camp again. yay.

like my mom said. poor thing the army doesn't want you.

Should I accept SMU Double Degree in business and accountancy and (maybe) reject it later if I get into NYU/Upenn/Berkeley? What are the penalties? Does anyone know? And i can only start applying US Unis like in a few months.

When I get my pay on Thursday, do I go buy a Nintendo DS and Pokemon Pearl and the strategy guide, or do I go buy more magic cards? And what about my PSP with my 4GB memory card? Should I keep it? Or sell it to Shuwen?

Well I finished my first two driving lessons.. And the second was quite fun. Haha I drove non-stop for 1h 20min. Went all the way to punggol and buangkok. And there were no streetlights there at 9pm and I had to make my first U-Turn. But yeah i went to 4th gear at 60km/h. Whee! Oh well i've got a bad habit of putting my left hand on the bottom of the steering wheel
after changing gear. So i've gotta change that. =/

Ok i went for phantom last night $160 tickets. I'm sorry but i have to bitch a little about this. See cause cy's friend's sister bought these tickets already a long time ago, but wanted to watch another show. So she asked her brother=cy's friend to help sell them for her. And cy's friend, let's just call him K, told us that it was 160 for two tickets. So i was quite happy lah. 80 dollars a ticket, some more the shows all sold out for fri sat and sun. Then on thursday, when K met cy to pass her the tickets, he told her it was 160 each and i was like wtf! Haha but he admitted his mistake and offered to pay the extra 80 bucks, which i turned down of course. But yeah quite pissed lah, 80 bucks is a lot of money especially when you have shitty 350 a month pay.

Oh well, the seats were quite good. Stall seats, downstairs last row. The musical itself was not bad. I thought the props and costumes and the stage set were AMAZING. Especially the dropping chandelier, and the boat and the "river" and candles, and the phantom's lair. The phantom's voice was wonderful, and the two new owners of the opera house too; they were quite comical. On the other hand, the women's voices were a bit too high for me lah, couldn't really make out the words they were singing. And Christine, the main girl, her voice.. How to say.. shakes i guess, but in a strong way. As in, she repeats the syllables a lot when holding the note? Ah I've got no musical background so ignore me. When cy had to explain to me what an aria ensemble was i was like huh?

Anyways most of the guys got their posting. congrats on those who made it to ocs and sispec.. for the rest.. well at least your life will be more interesting than my storeman life. haha.

Anyway, looking back it's been like almost one year since my last post. Well I've been busy. Prelims and A Levels and all. And holidays. Ok i was just lazy lah. So i just decided to voice out my thoughts on this year's Champions League so far. Liverpool's through! Even though they beat Barca, I'm happy for both teams. The first leg match was absolutely riveting. Haha i could catch it cause i was on CNY leave. But second leg i was in camp. But yeah Barca this year form drop like crazy leh. Ronaldinho sucks alr. Eto'o injured off form. Messi also.. but Messi just scored a hat-trick against real madrid so i'm happy for him haha. I tell you they shouldn't have let Larsson go lah. See what he's done at Man U. Better than Saviola. Even Gudjohnsen is better than Saviola. Saviola was too short for the Liverpool Defenders. Carragher's my hero HAHA. And we got a good draw: PSV. but then they beat Arsenal, and their keeper Gomes is insanely tall, not to mention good. But yah lah i know we can do it. Liverpool FTW!

THIS MAN. made it all possible. even as a substitution, and i had doubts of his ability as a midfielder since i've only seen him play up front beside eto'o and ronaldinho, but he was absolutely brilliant. subtle deflection of the ball to eto'o for the equaliser and another one delivered to belletti with pin-point precision for the winner.

just got back from Dr. Chook's at Orchard towers. shoulder's not as bad as i feared. apparently it's just overused. tendon problem or something. said it's gonna take a while to heal, about a month or so cause tendons get the least blood supply or something. and that feeling like the bone's coming out of my socket is just the tendon rubbing against the bone cause of loose ligaments. yah. so i have to take medication. and go for physio 2/3 times a week. prob tue and fri and sat, since those are our early days. can't train so hard anymore. hope i can still perform for age group competition, which is on 9th of april. i want to win. but then again, who doesn't. but hope my shoulder recovers soon. physio's expensive =S

happy new year! haha i went to rtc's new year party with my neighbours last night. it was quite boring but the food was great lah. tempura. free flow. yum. songs they played were like my father's songs. haha so yah. but then it was a great way to start the year cause of something that happened. haha.

so i'm back from kunming/bangkok and it was just a lot of shopping. haha.

bahh. i'm sick. got cough. and it's 3 days to christmas. stuck at home today and tmr. which means i have to watch narnia NEXT YEAR. since i'm leaving on sat coming back on 30th at midnight. how crappy can it get.

watched flightplan on dvd. omg its sucks to the core. what kind of pathetic bomb doesn't blow up the plane. red eye was soOO much better. cause it had rachel mcadams. but it was really better.

then that same night i watched ONE MISSED CALL. ok so it's an old jap horror flick, prequel of red candy. but it was freaky. the twist was good. ok so it's basically abt this woman, her friend gets this call and its this really spooky ringtone that's not in her phone. so she doesn't answer and gets a MISSED CALL. so she checks her voice mail and its from her OWN number. but 3 DAYS LATER. its her own voice saying : Oh no it's raining, followed by a horrible scream. so guess what? three days later she says the exact same thing and gets killed by the ghost. pushed down from a bridge onto a train. her arm and leg gets severed and her severed arm is still holding her handphone cause she was talking to the main character when she died.. and the severed arm just starts dialling another number. omg. so more ppl die after getting the call from that ghost.

thank goodness they're using jap phones. if they were using nokia i would have just died. please don't make a hollywood remake. i wanna get the sequel red candy.

oh yah. and what made things worst was that like 10 minutes after watching the show, i was in bed and got a message. so i opened it and it was a BLANK MESSAGE, from SOMEONE I DIDN'T HAVE IN MY PHONEBOOK. ohgosh. i freaked out and like ran into my brother's room. haha then called tt number but no one answered. so just deleted everything.

sleepy. woke up early today to try to catch the 10.20 pride and prejudice at cine but couldn't get out of bed. couldn't sleep last night. so ended up watching the 12pm show at ps. Sorry! went to baking boys at city link before that. too bad there were no free samples. walked around aimlessly till 11plus then went to ps. stupid xbox place. if you call it a movie room you should expect people to think you can watch movies there right? but nooooooooo it's just a private room where u can play xbox. -__-

so watched p&p. not bad lah. not as boring as i expected. and keira's so cute when she laughs. haha did you know she played natalie portman's decoy amidala in episode 1? so cool. don't believe i finished all the popcorn. then went to taka to get presents for my family. got a tie clip for my dad.. dunno whether he's happy with it. got a nice revolving photo frame for my mom and artemis fowl's opal incident for my bro at borders. dead broke now. haha. and my mom. so irritating. she was happy but then she had to spoil it all by saying: you got this from the home section right? 32 dollars? haiiiiiiii ok so it was 34 but.....

oh oh oh along the way from taka to borders we got conned into going into the narnia exhibit thingy near orchard mrt. the big field there. $3 to walk into the wardrobe and step into the magical world of narnia! OMG WHAT A RIP OFF. 'snow' was soap suds hahahaha. and it was so boring. except the white witch part. a bit scary when she walks towards you. and poor actors, singaporean audiences don't want to interact with them even though they're told to do so. i guess its like the invisible wall between actors and audience that i vaguely rmb lee tuck leong teaching us about in sec two when we did merchant of venice.

anyway, moral of the story is : don't spend any money in the narnia exhibit.
had a fun day today (:
gonna sleep early and hopefully can wake to go for a jog.

okay. i had an extremely unhealthy dinner today. nachos and popcorn. that's cause freaking king kong took 3 whole hours. 5.40 to 8.40. my brother asked me out to watch king kong today. how cool is that. haha. so i made my way to bishan straight after the party we held for the children at canossaville home. ate ya kun kaya toast then went to the cinema, with nachos and popcorn. and lucky we weren't late. cause for the first time gv only had 5 min of adverts. they showed the trailer for MI3 which opens on 05/05/06 and narnia's trailer then they started the movie.

and okay first part of the show was a bit draggy but when they got to the island. it was amazing. makes jurassic park looks like child's play. i tell you after watching kong you'll feel the same way as me: that jurassic park is just a a giant ripoff of kong. the part where kong fights the 3 t-rexes was just. cool. seriously. and the part where they had to fight off the giant insects was spine chilling. and yeah it was quite funny too. when kong tried to impress the girl. but its a sad movie. you just can't help feeling for the big ape. he's so cute. HAHA.

actually i was just looking forward to that famous scene when he climbs up to the tp of the empire state and swats down planes. too bad director changed the script. now he had no flag to hang on. poor guy. i'm gonna dream of gorillas tonight.

the day after the party, i went for the interclub judo comp at portsdown. haha guys 4 teams and girls 2 teams so the girls all got medals. bah. we didn't get any. okay the first round was a total thrashing lah. i mean how to win ppl 30 kg heavier and 20cm taller than u.

then 3rd place match. we won 2 lost 2 and i was the last guy. so i fought this 31 year old jap guy. okay so he was orange belt too but he had like tons more experience. so i fell too the ground after attempting a throw. and guess what he armlocked my left arm. it cracked 7 times. but i still didn't tap cause it would have caused us to lose. so after the ref stopped it the jap guy came up and asked are u ok. hahahah. i couldn't feel my left arm anymore lah.

then he armlocked my right arm but didn't really get it cause my right arm is stronger. then he choked me but i didn't tap too. haha everyone was like telling me i was crazy. so ended up in a draw and our team lost by points. boo. but nvm. was a good experience.

although now i pulled the muscle near my elbow so i can't train for some time. my left arm is practically useless now lah. bleah.

ok i won't really go into the details for the rest of the days cause we basically just went shopping the rest of the time. bought a lot of stuff. and korea is just slightly cheaper than japan..

ok i got vans black and white checkered sneakers (: been looking all over for those. a nice black jacket that some korean star uses. dunno who also, they just put his pic beside the jacket. got ear muffs. haha. hmm lemme see what else. oh yah a lot of socks. hahaha i got spongebob socks!!! and i got this cool remote controlled car which is the size of correction tape. yeah i bought another one for my brother, thought we could race or something. but guess what? they use the same frequency. so if you press forward, BOTH cars move. =.=''

oh well. sadly no BoA posters. SIGH. all stupid Bae-what's-his-name-Jun's fault. BAH. he's like everywhere lah! they even have socks with his face on them........ but i got this cool BoA DVD history of BoA, 2000-2002 i think. its damn cool lah. nv see in sg b4. yeah. S$48 but so worth it. and i also got BoA's christmas cd. last year's release but yeah can't buy in sg too. and i also got this magazine for S$16 with 21 pages of BoA. omgg. heaven. haha its all n jap but who cares.

my brother's party now. so sian nothing to do. OH on his birthday on sat we went to CARNIVORE at chijmes! the brazillian all you can eat. yum. guess what we ate. haha. no prizes there. and when we thought we had tried all the different types of meat they served they came out with CHICKEN HEART. omg. its like rubbery and chewy and bitter and has a strong aftertaste and aiyah a bit of the blood taste. eew.

stupid coach told us wrong time for grading. so we went in the afternoon when it was at 9am. bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. have to wait till next year for my green belt.

fourth day we went to lotte world!!!!!! omg so fun. its been so long since i've been to a theme park. 1.30 to 6pm. went for all the nice rides. atlantis, gyrodrop and gyroscope. all the tower drops swinging and turning thingys and rollercoasters. aiyah. basically damn fun. and i ate this chocolate covered frozen banana. absolutely delicious. they deep freeze this delmonte banana and dip it in hot chocolate fudge. wahh.

wahhh after korea, the weather here is killing me. its like i stepped into changi airport and started sweating even though there was aircon.

ok so i went there by business class. and the gap between the two is really huge lah. i mean the air steward made it an effort to remember me and my brother's name. and when i was koping my brother's bowl of potato chips while watching trainman, (the jap movie from a book abt a geek who met this woman on the bus and finally got together with her after a lot of help from his online buddies in a chat room-damn sweet) they noticed and gave me a bowl too. and their iced mocha is heavenly. so i watched trainman, charlie and the choc factory and half of kungfu mahjong on the way there.

first day, went shopping. didn't buy anything though. too tired i guess. i mean 11.45pm flight. didn't sleep at all. angelina alina and winston. haha winston's so cute lah. brought out the child in me. then we made our way to the ski resort. dinner was super good. half stramboat half bbq. pork and sotong. tried the body board on the snow but slept early cause so shagged.

then we went skiing the whole day! haha it was okaay lah. not as fun as i wish it had been. but i think that's my fault cause i suck at it. hahaha always try the steep slope then end up flying through the air. then got one time this idiot left his skiis lying around and since i hadn't (or have for that matter) learnt how to turn yet, all i could do was hit it and fly and land with a thud. so loud lah. everyone looking so malu. but alina's damn pro lah. a natural. and i had board races with winston and my brother hahaha. u know the ones u sit on and hold the sides and just slide down the slope. heh. and omg they have churros everywhere in korea YUM.
that night called them to go down to bowl/pool/arcade at the central plaza. but they decided to go to their rooms first so we missed them. me and my brother played pool. damn ex lah. S$3.30 per 10min. omg. but the service was really good. there was this table where ppl were playing for the first time. and the guy at the counter who was in a suit went to teach them for half an hour. and ends up they were at the arcade so they didn't see us. bowling was full btw.

3rd day went to mt sorak. view was great. trees all diff colour. but i didn't dare climb all the way to the top to see the sea cause i didn't trust my shoes enough. damn steep lah. dangerous coming down. then went to WATERPIA. hahahaha so fun. its like this gigantic indoor water place. spa so shuang. and i don't believe i went outside. to an OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL IN WINTER. omg can die lah. run there, jump in. water's warm but when u get out again. and we didn't rent towels when we went out. didn't go to the outdoor hot springs cause those were even further away than the outdoor swimming pool. did the big slide. but didn't bring goggles so couldn't see much. hahaha. i spa-ed so much until skin all wrinkled. so gross. then i had WHITE MOCHA JAVALANCHE at java city. damn nice coffee joint inside waterpia. hahaha heavenly. white chocolate mocha.
yup. our mountain resort had a LAN SHOP. haha and a pool room. ok not really a pool room cause there was only one pool table, ok they call it pocketball there. the more popular game in korea is one i've never seen before. haha. the table has no pockets. and you play with two red and two white balls. they're bigger than pool balls. and the aim (i think, after watching ppl play a lot) is to use one of the white balls to hit both red balls. as in hit one red then bounce of to hit another one. if you don't hit both reds then your turn is over. then they keep score. its freakin hard lah. have to calculate every shot. needs much more skill than pool in my opinion. yeah so played with angelina, alina and winston later on. my brother was slpin. it was like alina's first time playing and still so pro. haha she's like a natural at everything.

the lan shop was so cool lah. all the super ultra cool korean games that will prob never make it to singapore's shores. kart racer. guns? and some cool 2d game sort of like maple but MUCH better graphics, 3d rendering and cooler skills. there was like a small girl playing tt game prob abt 6/7 years old and angelina was saying that the girl was so cool she's like the type of girl who beats her brother at computer games everytime. haha. but the dominant game was starcraft lah. they were even showing starcraft matches on national tv. they even had kof98 online.

yeahh. haha okay i'm gonna continue tmr. quite tired and i have to wake up early for training.

it's 8am here in korea and i'm in the SIA business class lounge. flight's at 9am. eating dunkin donuts and sipping their cafe mocha while blogging. damn sleepy. woke up at 5 cause the airport's 1.5h away from our hotel.

but i'm super happy. haha this has been one of my most enjoyable holidays in a few years. actually i think the best holiday so far. well at least that i can remember.

angelina was in my tour group. haha it's a small world after all.

omgomgomg she's so chio lah. ok the movie wasn't too good. not particularly spectacular or anything. it's just one of those must-watch-so-that-when-everyone-talks-about-it-you-know-what's-going-on type of movie. but omg emma! and fleur was stunning too. cho was... ok lah. not fugly but not chio either. hahahaha.. i hate her scottish accent. like wth? reminds me of michael doyle. hahahahahaa. and the parts where harry was distracted by her were damn funny lah.

bleah. bad movie experience. ppl behind were making the stupidest and most DUH type of comments. felt like whacking them. when snape was doing something good they were like OH I LIKE SNAPE NOW. =.= then in the maze they were like THE CUP'S A PORTKEY. i swear i could feel like 3 rows of ppl turn and stare daggers. stupid guys. bet they've never heard of whispering in their life. and then got someone with BO around me. must tahan for 2 and a half hours. wahhh.

ok i haven't been updating this in a while due to (the horror!) neopets. haha as well as RE4 and burnout revenge. eunice thinks re4 is fascinating. and bryan's hooked on burnout hahahaha. and i predict i'll blog even less when i get smackdown vs. raw 2006 this week.

yes. eddie guerrero has passed away. heart failure. we'll never see a guerrero frog splash again. i still remember when he reversed brock lesnar's F5 into a tornado DDT into the title belt back in wrestlemania 2004. and he became wwe champion. though he really acted a creep when he turned heel this year and screwed rey mysterio upside down, everyone loved him when he humiliated kurt angle countless times. lie, cheat, steal. ironic that he had a dvd titled cheating death, staling life. he will always be fondly remembered.

and i shall be grateful for everything good that has happened to me.

ok today was fun. did pw in the morn. ate at s11, then dragged cy down to far east since she's meeting her friend there. ate my DEEP FRIED MARS BAR. omg it's the best thing i've ever eaten in my life. after i finished one i spent a whole 10 minutes sittign there deciding whether to get another. ten minutes of torture i tell u. but i decided not to since its really bad for my body HAHA so went ya kun kaya toast beside it to drink coffee and thank goodness the craving faded away.

met a lot of ppl in orchard. wenloong with his fUNKY hair. keewui, fang and his *ahem friend. leslie. ahhh u guys nv tell me ur watching tom yum. i wld have ponned training to watch lahh. haiii. yeah then after that jiexuan came down THANK YOU! to follow me around until training so we went to raffles place to buy games. then went for training which was quite slack.. ok lah i guess. fun but not very rewarding.

not a bad movie. better than i expected. though the plot was EXTREMELY CLICHE and i could see the plot twist crystal clear at the start of the movie. haha but it was ok i guess. fun stuff.

then went to north point for the first time in my life (so sue me) to walk around "window shop". haha tried on a hot pink shirt. and did something brave and incredibly traumatising which i will not elaborate on. went to look at cds, ate ya kun kaya toast. went home.

then i just! found out that mich managed to get me one disney figure!!!!!!!!!! wheeee! haha thanks a million billion trillion gazillion times! cause apparently it's quite hard to get. u need to spend HK$50 at 7-11 so they'll give you ONE. and trying to spend $50 at 7-11 is no walk in the park. i mean what else can you buy besides mineral water and candy and candy and more candy. haha so THANK YOU!

ouch. aching all over. today's training was surprisingly good. i mean a lot of shouting and screaming and super xiong. but i dunno. i had fun. used a lot of strength to throw. kept on shouting. felt good after training. guess i vented all my hidden frustrations. haha. plus i could go out for dinner with judo guys cause my parents only coming back at like 9pm tonight. so even though i'm battered and bruised all over. and my face has a million abrasions on it, ok abt 6, yeah it was good.

and my uncle went back to philippines so i have my room to myself again. brother went back.

and the whole world's listening to jay chou. haha me included. i like, in order, Mai Ya Tang, Yi Lu Xiang Bei, Ye Qu. and Lang Man Shou Ji's not bad too. haha b*rn so many copies for ppl already. and yuanxin screwed up the labelling loh. haha type in wrong place. mix up my track 8 and 9. lucky i check with yingtong. thanks!

and friday got grading training lehh. i dunno whether to pon or not cause i wanna go bowling. if go training will be very rush. cause have to go back to sch for , the play. haha. yah so i dunno. i think can go on saturday. but i going korea right before grading. howwwwwwwww.

and my parents just came back from hong kong! haha they got me a fleece jacket and a windbreaker for korea (: AND DISNEY'S MAGICAL MINIATURES ahahahah omg so cute! its like silver plastic miniatures! they bought me 6! so i opened them! i got Dopey, Ariel, Jasmine, Mr. Incredible and Mike from Monsters' Inc. ANNNDD the last box was a rare figure! haha EEYORE! haha at least i think it's rare! cause it has a star-shaped base instead of the usual circle one! and EEYORE's GOLD PLASTIC NOT SILVER! hahahah ok i'm getting high over tiny plastic cartoon characters hahahahahah! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

wahhh lauuu so malu today. but damn funny. taking out ice can drop the container then pushed it against the fridge door. so got 4 ice cubes stuck to the fridge door. of course the rest fell and everyone was laughing. so when i picked up all the ice cubes and was going to wash them, i hit my head on the open freezer door when standing up. omg. so stupid.

but today was fun. sorry yuanxin! for not entertaining you so much. but you're a natural at baking! better than wesley at least. and mahjong!

and aaron taught me how to do power shots in PES 5. cool man.

ok today was fun! sch only maths today cause don't want to do econs s no econs lecture, and no physics tutorial. so played harry potter. HAHA. fun k. wesley wenloong chuanyue know how to play now.

then after that went tuas naval base. quite cool lah. as in the tlak was boring but the food was good. got condensed milk for coffee leh. haha takes little to satisfy me. then the ship ride a bit slow. what Fast craft. so slow! missile corvette was cool.

bus ride took ages. around 1 hour. fell asleep the whole time. wenloong dropped off without saying gdbye lah. idiot. couldn't borrow money from him. haha

then went to watch ZORRO! omg it's so so so super nice! haha its like damn funny even though it's an action movie. yeah and he's so cool! and the priest can do judo! haha iponned the guy. and his son is damn cool. i like his hair. must watch must watch.

after that wen to eat yoshinoya cause no $$$ cannot go delifrance/sweet secrets. oh well.
